What would you do if you were in charge during a global crisis?

In this immersive workshop, you will step into the role of political leaders who faced two defining challenges of modern politics: the 2008 financial crash and the COVID-19 pandemic. You will explore how these crises unfolded, how leaders made decisions under pressure, and how the public and media responded. In essence, you will gain a deeper understanding of how these major events have shaped the modern world. 

We will take you beyond lectures and explanations of these events, guiding you through hands-on activities instead. We will analyze data, break down media coverage, and write and deliver political speeches.

Along the way, you will develop key skills in public speaking, critical thinking, and media and data literacy, while also strengthening your understanding of economics and politics. Most importantly, you will learn how to build strong arguments, challenge ideas, and communicate with clarity and confidence. 

Learning how leaders have navigated past crises prepares you to lead with confidence in the future.
